Semaglutide is sold three ways online in November 2026: compounded injections from telehealth programs, brand Wegovy injections, and the Wegovy pill. The best provider depends on which of the three you want and how you plan to pay. We ranked the programs that sell it on the same rubric we use for tirzepatide and re-read every price on the provider’s own website on November 4, 2026.

Best compounded semaglutide provider: NexLife

NexLife, our top-rated provider (94/100), charges $139 a month month to month or $119 a month on a 12-month plan ($125 on 6 months, $132 on 3) for compounded semaglutide, the same price from the first dose to the highest, with no membership. Its plan pages name the dispensing pharmacies, and a licensed clinician reviews every intake. It is not the cheapest: Collective ($59 plus a $199 yearly membership), SnagRx ($69 sale; its terms list $99), Mondae ($87) and Eden ($99) all list lower month-to-month prices.

Best for brand Wegovy: NovoCare direct, or Ro Body with insurance help

Novo Nordisk sells Wegovy directly through NovoCare: the pill is $149 a month at 1.5 mg, $199 at 4 mg and $299 at 9 mg and 25 mg; the pen is $349 a month, with a $199 price for a new patient’s first two fills through December 31, 2026, and $399 for the 7.2 mg Wegovy HD dose. Ro Body (85) sells the same products and helps with insurance prior authorization, with a membership on top. Brand Wegovy is FDA-approved; compounded semaglutide is not.

Scores in brackets are each program’s overall score on our provider rubric, which was built and weighted for tirzepatide programs; we have not scored semaglutide separately.

Safety and legal status

Semaglutide is no longer in shortage, so compounded versions are allowed only for an individual patient with a documented clinical need. FDA proposed on April 30, 2026 to keep semaglutide off the 503B bulks list; no final decision had been published as of November 4, 2026. FDA counted 990 adverse-event reports linked to compounded semaglutide through May 31, 2026, and says some, including hospitalizations, may be related to dosing errors; and warns against salt forms (semaglutide sodium and acetate). Choose a program that names a state-licensed pharmacy and a prescriber you can look up.

Comparing the two drugs? Tirzepatide produced more weight loss than semaglutide in the SURMOUNT-5 head-to-head trial (20.2% vs 13.7% at 72 weeks). See our best tirzepatide provider ranking.
